By downloading or using the Carplog application ("App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully before using the App.
Carplog is a carp fishing diary, social, and analytics platform. It allows you to log catches and sessions, share photos, view your fishing statistics, and receive AI-powered coaching insights based on your data.
Carplog offers the following plans:

The Free tier includes unlimited catch logging, sessions, photos, and weather. No features essential to using Carplog as a fishing diary are paywalled.
Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play and automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your device's App Store / Play Store account settings. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.
AI insights and bite predictions are generated from your personal catch history and local weather data using statistical analysis. They are advisory only and do not guarantee fishing outcomes. Fishing success depends on many factors beyond the scope of this App.
You retain ownership of photos and content you upload. By uploading, you grant Carplog a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display your content within the App and to other users who follow you (if your catches are public). You must not upload content that is illegal, offensive, or infringes third-party rights.
The App optionally requests location permission to fetch local weather data and suggest nearby lake names. Location data is not stored on our servers unless you explicitly save GPS coordinates to a session. You can deny location permission and still use all core features.
Weather data is sourced from Open-Meteo (open-meteo.com), a free and open-source weather API. Carplog is not responsible for the accuracy of weather data provided by third parties.
Some bait and tackle product links in the App are affiliate links. If you tap one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission from the retailer at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links never affect the price you pay, and we only feature products relevant to the App. These links are clearly presented as product links within the App.
You agree not to use Carplog to spam, harass, impersonate others, attempt to reverse-engineer the service, or use the App in any way that violates applicable law.
Carplog is provided "as is". We are not liable for any loss of data, indirect damages, or fishing outcomes. The App is a diary and coaching tool — results depend on your own skill and local conditions.
These terms are governed by English law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
